I Fell In Love With The Girl At The Pen Show

October 10th to 12th was the London (Autumn) Pen Show. This is like any trade show: you have vendors who like to sell you things, customers who want deals on those things, and a few onlookers trying to build brands, follow next year's marketing trends, make relationships with mutually beneficial businessesโ€ฆ or who just want to hold the bags of somebody they love, looking for a place to sit. I went for the Sunday as a customer.

Studying in the age of COVID-19

This pandemic is a life-changing cultural shift, and one of the questions we ought to take from it is the purpose of education: what are people hoping to get out of their school experience?

As a school librarian, I sometimes see places where we can march forward to a better standard of universal education. I would like to suggest that we are not using the technology to its fullest effect.
